The most famous mine in La Paz County is the Red Cloud which is well-known for Wulfenite specimens. Geronimo is a sister mine to the Red Cloud and is the source of fantastic two-color midwave pieces. Due to the relative rarity of the Geronimo pieces, those are significantly more expensive. Anyone interested in the Geronimo pieces should note that midwave UV is needed to get the very bright colors. The response under shortwave will be similar but more subdued.
