Although classical music is my central interest I am just as comfortable playing rock music on the electric guitar. I taught myself to play the guitar before entering into formal studies. While I spend less time with rock music than I used to, it is still an enjoyable thing to do.
Lessons for the guitar will vary according to the interests of the student, both electric and acoustic are welcome. Most often lessons use tablature or chord diagrams, both of which are easy to learn.
Below is an audio example of me playing riffs from a few rock songs.
Occasionally I get together with a couple of friends to play some music. We don't spend enough time at it to sound very professional but it is a lot of fun.
