Years ago I got my start in the fluorescent mineral business working for Charlie Ward at the annual Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.  One rule of the shows that Charlie taught me was that big rocks sell well and make a good profit margin.  His penchant for large specimens has even given him the nickname of "Boulder Charlie" among some collectors.  It has been years now since I have worked at the Tucson show with Charlie and I have finally come to the conclusion that either internet mineral sales are different than show sales or that big rocks are no longer as in demand as they used to be.  So with some reluctance I am now retiring the "XL" page and have taken a sledge hammer to many of the boulders sitting around my yard.  The result is that I am introducing a new "Boulder" page which will feature the pieces that have come from the old boulder-size specimens.  I found some really nice pieces hiding inside and what's more is that most of them are now "mine run" quality since new faces have been exposed.
